Learning Stuff

This investigation begins the much needed exploration of baby-related products and why there are just so many. (Mothers tell me, which do I chose?) I intend to review products and absorb the multitude of variety that is, and surrounds, infants, expectant mothers, and their loved ones. As an expecting and totally oblivious mother, I will also turn a critical, ever-watchful eye, on the children's market, as well as those targeting parenthood, including routinely usables, like shampoos, to the fantastic world of children's literature.  Today I am 11 weeks pregnant and fully hope to have a grasp on the expanding market and what is healthy/necessary/fun for my family by week 42. This investigation is not all business. After all, understanding the rippling world surrounding our infants includes ourselves. Personal musings, on the experiences of pregnancy, and expectations, I hope, will give a more accurate view of the all preparation and frustrations that come with new motherhood.

I am jubilant, curious, and unprepared.

  1. Ok, not really a useful newborn product, but if you have a girl she will need these when she gets a little older: http://www.trumpette.com/maryjane-rain-boots.html

  2. Also, I found your Playing House blog, and your writing is so beautiful and sad it breaks my heart. It's what I try to do with mine, but I don't think it's there yet. More please :)

  3. Ill try to post more as soon as I can. I really try to have quality work, because I use them as writing samples. I try to do some research as well. Currently my research involves watching Mad Men for my Chores to Sex blog.
